I took a leap into the unknown: healthcare tech, business consulting, leadership, and more—roles that aligned with my values and strengths. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.

Meet Meng: From Burnout to Balance
Meng is part of the Satsuma team and proof that bold decisions lead to lasting change. After 12 years in retail pharmacy, burnout pushed him to prioritize well-being, and he walked away without another job lined up – a terrifying but transformative decision.
“I realized that work had taken up too much of my life and it wasn’t how I wanted to live. Even then, it was hard to let go of all the hard work, time invested, and potential promotion with the company.”
What made it possible? He had a plan.
Financial Freedom: The Game-Changer
Meng knew financial security was the key to freedom. After graduating, he dove into learning about personal finance, tackled a six-figure student debt in just 7 years, and committed to making sound financial decisions. His discipline gave him the freedom to leave without fear and explore new opportunities.
Guidance and Clarity
Meng wasn’t alone. “Terri was able to understand what I was going through. She showed me the steps that she took to pivot. Change is scary and Terri gave me clarity of what I wanted out of my career with her insights and support.”
Where is He Now
Today, Meng thrives in a remote role, enjoying the work-life balance he once thought was out of reach. He’s spending time with his family, traveling the world, and pursuing his passions. Now, Meng is using his expertise in financial independence to empower pharmacists to take control of their finances and reclaim their lives.
